Jupiter’s Ingress into Leo - Horoscopes for all 12 signs

On June 30th at 1:51 am (EST), the Year of the Fire Horse began galloping as Jupiter moved from the waters of Cancer into fiery Leo. The Greater Benefic turns from expanding our emotional depth to urging us to step into the limelight and share our gifts with the world.

Earlier the same day, Mercury the messenger planet started his journey back through Cancer, retracing the King’s steps. And that evening, the Strawberry Moon in Capricorn illuminated the foundations and structures we have relied on for the first half of the year.

Mercury retrograde is liable to fill these first 6 weeks of Jupiter in Leo with delays, reworkings and trial-and-error as you work to translate your inner knowings into outer presentations. Some of this may involve feeling very vulnerable in public – remember, owning your mistakes and learning to do better is practicing accountability, and that's a very attractive quality!

The houses of your birth chart that contain Cancer, Leo and Capricorn can help you pinpoint which areas of your life are likely to be lit up by this astro-weather. I’ve written horoscopes for each sign – read your Rising first, and Moon and Sun for more nuance.

Wishing you all the courage, luck and authentic self-expression that Jupiter in Leo can bring <3

Cancer – Your focus shifts from interior work into outward expression. As Jupiter leaves your sign and enters the terrain of the Lion, it’s time to show the world what you’re made of - and what you’ve made! In your 2nd house, this could definitely include an expansion of your ability to make some money. Recognize which of your partnerships support your authenticity and will cheer for your success, and unravel yourself from the ones which do not.

Gemini – Prepare to step from the stage into the audience. Jupiter is here to expand your networks and offer you more opportunities to meet your neighbors. Strong community support can help us heal from trauma and suffering, and makes us more resilient when hard times inevitably occur. Just be sure to carefully vet the folks you let into your inner circle. Not everyone you work with is qualified to hold your heart.

Taurus – As a Taurus, you’ve probably already got a stable and peaceful haven – or you’re working towards one. Jupiter will be bringing you luck and support in nurturing this space, and the loved ones you invite into it. If the urge strikes to spend more time at home, lean into it if you can. If you can’t, think about ways you can create the feeling of being “at home” in your life.

Aries – Jupiter in Leo lights up the part of your chart that rules romance, creativity and children. This is your invitation to grind less and play more! Your work is important, both at home and in the world, but remember that it is fueled by doing things that feed your soul. Not sure what that is anymore? Get curious, and ask Jupiter to bring you more chances to explore what delights you.

Pisces – You are transitioning into a month where Jupiter supports refining your daily habits, staying consistent with your commitments, and getting clear on your priorities. Balancing your own needs and the requirements of others may require you to rework your routines. This is a great time to try out a new workout routine or other way of caring for your body. Once you find one that works, Jupiter can help you make it stick.

Aquarius – If you’re longing for a relationship - or to strengthen an existing partnership – Jupiter in Leo is here to expand your possibilities. With Mercury retrograding, it’s possible that old flames may cross your path or re-enter your life in some way. The work you have done on understanding your own relationship patterns and shadow material will help you discern which of your suitors is showing up fully and ready to build something lasting with you.

Capricorn – Jupiter crossing into your 8th House is lighting up the door to the Underworld. In order to resurrect, a Phoenix must first burn, and what’s ready to go up and flames this month is an outdated image you have of yourself. Peer into the darkness with courage – this period will reward you with profound transformation.

Sagittarius – Moving into your 9th House, Jupiter becomes the Centaur Sage, turning his gaze to the horizon. Your focus shifts from the difficult alchemy of transformation to the quest for fresh insights, new perspectives and more advanced knowledge. It’s time to learn more from the world around you – seek out the teachers and elders who have been where you want to go.

Scorpio – After a period of exploration and study, you are ready to apply what you have learned to your career and public life. Jupiter can assist you in attaining a new level of mastery in your chosen field, growing your business, or expanding your work prospects. Pay attention to the offers and connections that light you up on multiple levels.

Libra – If you’re ready to expand the ways your work in the world benefits and integrates with your community at large, Jupiter is prepared to help you make it happen. It’s vitally important to invest in and take action in our local communities, but it’s also invaluable to network with other communities around the world and consider how we impact and can support each other. Think globally!

Virgo – As Jupiter moves into your 12th House, your private life pulls greater focus. You are beginning to wrap up the 12-year cycle of Jupiter through the houses – what has grown to it’s fullest flower over those years? This period will help you integrate and honor how far you have come, and you may need more time alone to process the journey. Let your loved ones know it’s nothing personal – you are just preparing to shed your skin.

Leo – Jupiter moves into your first house, and invites you to re-write your Origin Story. This is the start of a brand-new cycle, lasting 12 years as Jupiter moves through the zodiac. The planet of luck and expansion is here to help you craft a new way of being in the world, informed by all you’ve learned. Level up! But remember to keep practicing the basics, and maintain a beginner’s mind.
